Special edition scientific Use File Insured Persons’ Pension Portfolio (Versichertenrentenbestand) (SUF.RTBN):
The basis of the cross-sectional data set SUF.RTBN is the pension portfolio statistics (§ 7 RSVwV, SK90), which includes all pension portfolio cases up to December of the reporting year. The population of the SUF.RTBN consists of old-age and reduced earnings capacity pensions as well as mere child-raising contributions. The size of the random sample is 1 per cent.
In addition to demographic data, the data set covers important pension-related facts such as pension amount, components of the pension payment amount, earning points and credited insurance periods.
Compared to the standard Scientific Use File, the special edition contains the insured person's month of birth and a variable on educational level. In exchange, information on place of residence has been aggregated into East/West.
